Vintage Invitation: "BUD BROWN'S BARN" (Western Bar) - PHOENIX

Description

This is a pair of vintage items related to "Bud Brown's Barn," a western bar which was located in Phoenix, Arizona (at 909 E. Northern Ave). Included are the following:

Invitation to a "Western Hospitality Cocktail Hour" on Thursday April 28 [no year indicated but appears to be late 1940s/early 1950s], measures 4 1/8" x 5 3/8" when closed, the front features two working "swinging bar doors" which reads "Snakebite Medicine Will Be Served Inside," and opens to reveal the invitation. The event was hosted by "Arizona Public Service," "Valley National Bank," "Salt River Power District" and "First National Bank of Arizona" (condition: there is no damage); and
