Each set of our real carbon fiber pillar posts install right over your existing pillars, simple peel and stick application. We also recommend using a hair dryer to heat up the double sided tape to ensure a tighter fit. Our real carbon pillars are made from real carbon fiber material and finished with a urethane clear coat giving them a beautiful shiny and smooth surface. Now you can upgrade your dull finish factory pillar posts to a carbon fiber style at a fraction of the cost to replace them. Our carbon fiber pillar posts are laser cut to fit your exact make, model and year which ensures a perfect fit and edges every time. We offer a lifetime warranty on our carbon fiber pillar posts which covers cracking, peeling and yellowing. We recommend cleaning the pillars with a soft cloth to prevent any scratching/scuffing. Thoroughly clean the area where pillar post trim will be installed. You can use clean, lint-free cloth and the alcohol to remove ALL residue and dirt.
Without removing the red backing tape, 'dry-fit' ALL pieces on the correct place. Make sure piece is positioned to the center of the original pillar post. If needed use a pencil to outline the pieces for placement reference or use masking tape to hold it temporarily in the place.
Hold pieces by the edges to avoid touching the adhesive surface. Partially peel off the red protective tape from the back of pillar post.
Place in position, align correctly, and then remove the remaining backing tape.
When all pieces are satisfactorily in place, thoroughly press down on the entire surface of each piece to ensure a complete 'wet-out' of adhesion to the surface.  Pay special attention to corners and any curved pieces.  Fingerprint marks can be easily removed with window cleaning products such as Windex or rubbing alcohol.
