THIS PRINT IS DEFINITELY OLD, CARDBOARD BACKING WITH TINY NAILS AND Tiny metal triangular SHAPED FASTENERS
VERY INTERESTING IS THAT ON THE BACKSIDE OF THE WATERCOLOR IS A BLACK AND WHITE SKETCH OF A CABIN (SEE PHOTOS)
Below is information I gathered from the internet, it may or maynot be correct.
I am guessing that due to the war paper was scarce and they reused it or turned it over and used backside. the watercolor is unsigned but the cabin print has the initials RETR, perhaps done by a member of the Reinhertz family.
On the inside of the cardboard backing are several stickers.  One is from Foley Photo Art Shop  Addressed to Lou Laughlin which I believe was around 1958 and the other is a sticker from Railway Express Agency which started in 1917.  Of course this is just a piece of cardboard, nothing to do with the watercolor, but might help date it.
    thanks.
