Juan Antonio Cúccaro
My work represents what I have in my heart with all of its emotion and passion.
My intention is to capture a moment in time and to hold it forever.
What you feel in that "moment" is what is important.
It is unique and irreplaceable.
I use the light and shadows based on the tradition of chiaroscuro technique,
working from dark to light on a two dimensional surface to create a three-dimensional illusion.
My expression is based on desire for one to feel that they can reach out and touch the art,
to feel the texture of the subject matter,
the emotion in the simplicity and the passion in the depth, then I have created my art.
There are many moments in time, but which one will you choose to stop, breathe and take a long look at?
These are only but a few of mine that I share with you, and there many more to come.
