  • Condition: Antique break carriage with four horses pulling at a gallop. Oil on tin. Very old nails and cork rabbits in the probably original framing. Other than 4042 in pencil on back of frame there is no other markings or provenance. Could stand a clean as the varnish has darkened over time, some light paint spot loss on bushes in left lower. Nice piece, heavier than modern pieces to hang. Tin image is 4x7. Framed 18x16x3. Single spot on frame near image and about a 1" loss of frame paint at bottom lower edge, with a spot of paint loss to frame on upper left edge.
