1948 Isotta Fraschini 8 C. “Monterosa” color catalog.
F.L. Rapi artwork.
11.8” x 8.4” (30 cm x 21 cm).
56 pages plus heavy double covers.
French language - the Monterosa 8 C was first shown at the 1948 Paris Salon.
Some pages are on tissue paper.
13 full page color art illustrations of proposed body styles by well-known automotive designer and artist  Fabio Luigi Rapi.
Also pastel drawings of scenes to complement the body styles.
Also mechanical and technical line drawings.
Some of the tissue pages are printed and some are left blank.
This is a very rare catalog, as only 3 to 6 cars were built.
Generally fine condition with inside pages totally clean and mint, very slight soiling on covers, and 2-inch (5 cm) almost unnoticible clear tape near top of spine.
Any fuzziness or darkness or yellow on edges of pages in the illustrations are due to my scanner.
This is a very rare catalog – I have only seen this offered on eBay twice in the past 18 years, and I bought both of them.
I am not a dealer – I am a collector and have been collecting high-end CCCA “Full Classic” catalogs for forty years and have decided to sell off some of my duplicates.
