    Description

    Up for sale is a large water color painting on artist paper of Ephraim Bailey who served, 1862 - 1865, in the Pennsylvania Corn Exchange Regiment. He was from Vincentown, NJ. Captured at the battle of Cold Harbor on 2 June, 1864 and sent to Andersonville, GA where he survived and was discharged 26 May, 1865. The painting was found in a 70 year old art studio and measures 18 by 24 inches and is in very good condition. (See scan/photos for condition.)
