The bleeding neon treatment of the unnatural, radioactive colors, evokes a foreboding industrial landscape & accompanying toxic atmosphere, loaded w/stifling, multi-colored gases & waste exhaust, seen pouring out of the smokestacks, which tower over all else like holy skyscrapers. The scene isn't merely capturing a recognizable industrial skyline & atmosphere, it's by way of selective color & the treatment of the W/C paint, w/the controlled edge bleeding & the visual vibration caused from the clash of red & green, creating a landscape that's at once uncomfortable & something akin to a dream, where it feels right but is nevertheless 'off.' Masterfully realized & painted.

The bleeding neon treatment of the unnatural, radioactive colors, evokes a foreboding industrial landscape and accompanying toxic atmosphere, loaded with stifling, multi-colored gases and waste exhaust, seen pouring out of the smokestacks, which tower over all else like holy skyscrapers. The scene doesn't merely capture a recognizable industrial skyline and atmosphere, it's by way of selective color and the treatment of the watercolor paint, with the controlled edge bleeding and the visual vibration caused from the clash of red and green, which creates a landscape that's at once uncomfortable and something akin to a dream, where it looks and feels almost right but is nevertheless 'off.' Masterfully realized and very sensitively painted. In its original period painted wooden frame and with surrounding choice, woven coarse linen mat presentation. The work is signed in sgraffito inscribed lettering along the watercolor painting's outside margins in the pictorial field. Great vertical formatting for display in narrow, hard to decorate places in your home or office. You know where they are, since we all have them. A gorgeous
