    Description

The painting is oil on old paper
board, and probably dates to around the 1950s. The scene depicted is abstract expressionist. Very nicely done. The dimensions of the board are approx. 9"  W. x 12" H.. The painting is clearly signed on the lower right "Kotin," that compares favorably with known signature examples for the artist, Albert Kotin (1907 -1980). The painti
ng came out of an estate.
The painting is likely in the original frame. The condition of the painting is excellent, and there are no major paint losses. Everything checks out under strong UV-light, including the signature, and no signs of inpainting are visible to my eye.
