DONALD DUCK "LONG BILLED" RUBBER TOY FIGURE
- 1930s Walt Disney/Seiberling Latex Products Co. 3.5" x 4.5".
This figural plaything was designed as a squeak toy although, as is typical, rubber has hardened with age. This example has also distorted with age, most notably the head & shoulder area has shifted backwards. However, Donald's expression is great and the paint is unusually bright and attractive.
Condition is considered only FAIR with miscellaneous surface/paint wear. There are assorted surface cracks and stress lines on portions of the distorted features. Toy is still intact with no loose or missing pieces apparent.
Despite obvious defects, overall graphic imagery is still very displayable by most standards (see photos).
An early and uncommon Donald Duck variation with nice eye appeal. This scarce figure would make an unusual DISNEYANA display for the discriminating VINTAGE COMIC CHARACTER MEMORABILIA enthusiast. On a condition code scale of 1 to 10, the above listed item(s) rated - (6-5).
